Is The Answer to a Failing Economy a Lottery Win?

As everyone tightens their belts and prepares themselves for a rough financial ride the lottery seems to be enjoying renewed vigour.  More and more we read in the papers and hear in the news that we must prepare for the oncoming financial storm. It is therefore not a wonder that people turn to alternative means for securing financial security.

All over the world lottery sales are sky-rocketing as people desperately strive to find a way out of this economical mess that the banks created and are making us pay for. Fear is the greatest of motivators. Just ask the banks that used it to get tax-payer funding for their mistakes! So it is no wonder fear is driving up lottery ticket sales.

What people don't understand though is that buying extra lotto tickets does almost nothing to increase your chances of winning a prize.

There are things that you can do, however, to help your chances in the lottery.

By starting, or joining an existing, syndicate you can instantly improve your odds in any lotto. The top prizes (and smaller ones) go more often to syndicates than to individual players. Syndicates have more success in the lottery because most use their "extra" lottery funds to implement lotto systems. They will "wheel" their numbers to give themselves a better chance of winning and higher odds of winning multiple prizes.

Because wheeling ensures you will win multiple prizes (when you pick winning numbers) it does not take a lottery jackpot win to bring in such nice earnings for syndicate members. When you pick enough winning numbers to win 1 prize you are guaranteed to win more than just one prize.

In fact using this approach to playing the lottery means that if you do pick the jackpot numbers you will win many, many more prizes than just one jackpot prize!

Of course individual players can also increase their odds very significantly using similar lottery systems. There are also different systems that can be employed by single players. A solo win means just a one-way split though. However, the drawback to playing alone is that it will cost you considerably more money than it would if you played as part of a syndicate.

If you really do want to win the lottery then you must use a lotto system to improve your odds or else you are just leaving things to pure luck.
